Barranco Comptoir is a new way to enjoy the Barranco experience!
Created by Barranco Partners, which began in Montreal in 2021, this project is driven by a sincere passion: sharing the richness and soul of Peruvian cuisine.
Over time, this vision has evolved to give rise to Barranco Comptoir, a concept designed for takeout and delivery, which revisits our iconic recipes in a faster and more accessible format, without compromising on taste or quality.

Chef Marco Oliart
Chef Marco Oliart is a Peruvian chef from Cusco, trained at Le Cordon Bleu, with an inspiring and unusual career path. After a successful career as an entrepreneur in systems and telecommunications, he decided to make a major change and devote himself fully to gastronomy. This choice led him to win the prestigious Papa de Oro Award and found the Kriolla chain in Perú.
He went on to lead innovation projects in collaboration with the Universidad del Pacífico and Alicorp, before moving to Canada to reinvent himself once again. Today, he plays a key role at Barranco Partners Group in Montreal, where he combines technical rigor with bold, powerful flavors faithful to traditional Peruvian cuisine.
Markito, as he is affectionately known, fully embodies the spirit of Barranco. He wears the brand with pride and is committed to promoting Peruvian cuisine on a daily basis, always with heart, passion, and great respect for tradition.
