Who we are

barrancocomptoir.com is operated by 9555-8763 Québec inc., which runs Barranco Comptoir Péruvien. This policy explains what personal information we collect on this website, why, and what you can do about it, in line with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

What we collect and why

• Welcome offer: your email address and, if you give it, your mobile number, to send you your single-use code by email and text. One code per person. We only send you marketing if you tick the optional box.
• "Send me this bowl" and "Your ideal bowl" plan: your email address (and the bowl you built) so we can send you what you asked for. We only send you marketing if you tick the optional box.
• Newsletter: your email address and, if you give them, your first name and preferred counter, to send you our news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Contact form: your name, email and message, only to answer you.
• Catering and office lunch requests: your name, company, email, phone number and order details (date, number of people, dietary needs), to answer your request and prepare a quote.
• "Your ideal bowl" calculator: the age, height, weight and sex you enter are calculated in your browser only. They are never sent to us or stored.
• Online orders: orders are placed on our ordering platform, UEAT, under its own privacy policy. Payment is handled by UEAT and its payment processors; we never receive your card number.
• Audience measurement and advertising, only if you accept: Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel collect pages viewed, clicks (such as "Order") and device information, to measure what works and show our ads to the right people.

Cookies and browser storage

Until you choose, measurement and advertising tags stay off. We keep your choice in your browser, along with two small technical markers: whether you have already seen the welcome offer and the opening animation. They contain no personal information.

To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser: the banner will appear again.

Service providers and transfers outside Quebec

We share only what each provider needs to do its job: UEAT (online ordering), Google (analytics and advertising), Meta (advertising), NameHero (website hosting), Pulse, the Barranco Partners loyalty and customer platform (newsletter, loyalty program and text messages), Twilio (text message delivery for Pulse), and our email provider. Some of them may store information outside Quebec, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

• Newsletter and offers: until you unsubscribe.
• Catering and quote requests: 3 years after our last exchange.
• Service emails (code, bowl, plan): 2 years.
• Google Analytics data: 14 months.

After that, the information is deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

You can ask to access your information, correct it, withdraw your consent, have it deleted or de-indexed, or receive it in a structured, commonly used format. Write to sales@barrancopartners.com; we answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Security

We limit access to your information to the people who need it and use reasonable security measures. If an incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned, as the law requires.

Children

This website is not aimed at children under 14. We do not knowingly collect their information without the consent of a parent or guardian.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
